Your first appointment will include a discussion of your diagnosis and treatment options. The consultation and treatment can occasionally be finished on the same day. On the other hand, a complicated medical history or treatment plan will demand an assessment and a second visit to provide therapy on a separate day.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:
IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the consultation visit and for treatment.
Please inform the office if you have a medical condition that necessitates medication prior to dental cleanings (e.g., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently on any medication (i.e. heart drugs, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc). (For example, antibiotics for pre-med students.)
We employ cutting-edge digital radiography at Silver Stream Dental! This method provides the greatest diagnostic information with the least amount of radiation exposure.
We also offer a brand new state of the art 3D CBCT full mouth xray scanner.
Traditional computed tomography (CT) systems are modified with cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). Dental experts employ CBCT systems that circle around the patient and capture data with a cone-shaped X-ray beam. These data are utilized to create a three-dimensional (3D) image of the dental (teeth), oral and maxillofacial area (mouth, jaw, and neck), and ears, nose, and throat ("ENT") parts of the patient's anatomy.
