Sandy Levy, RDH
Lead Hygienist
Sandy has been an active member of the dental field since 2004 and practicing in the field of Orthodontics since 2007. She received a dual degree in Biology and Microbiology from Loyola Marymount University and obtained her RDH (Dental Hygiene) License in 2012 from West Los Angeles College. She went on to receive her RDHAP License (Alternative Practice) in 2015 at which time she also treated homebound patients.
Her main focus is on treating Periodontal disease using the latest techniques including laser therapy, Arestin and Medical Irrigation. She is focused on the patient's overall health and focuses on stabilizing not only gingival inflammation but overall inflammation of the body. In addition to private practice, Sandy has also been an adjunct faculty at West Los Angeles college working with senior dental hygiene students in a clinical setting at UCLA School of Dentistry Periodontics Clinic and UCLA Venice Dental Clinic since 2016. Her focus on periodontal disease allowed her to work alongside the periodontal residents at UCLA Periodontal Clinic in performing treatments as a team.
She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association (ADHA), the California Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA), the California Dental Hygienists Educators Association (CDHEA), the American Dental Educators Association (ADEA) and the Los Angeles Dental Hygienists Association.
Sandy moved to Nevada from Southern California in September of 2021. When not working or teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
